By creating an account or using IEP Compass ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. These terms apply to all users of IEP Compass.
IEP Compass is a mobile application designed to help parents and guardians of children with special needs organize IEP-related information, track daily logs, manage documents, and access AI-powered guidance. The App is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, or educational advice.
To use IEP Compass, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • All activity that occurs under your account • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The App is intended for use by parents and guardians, not by minors.
You agree to use IEP Compass only for lawful purposes. You may not: • Post content that is offensive, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory • Share other users' private information without consent • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems • Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations • Post spam, advertisements, or unsolicited content in the community section • Impersonate any person or entity
IEP Compass includes a community section ("Stories") where users can share experiences and support one another. By posting content: • You grant IEP Compass a non-exclusive license to display your content within the App • You represent that your content does not violate any third-party rights • You understand that posts are visible to other authenticated users • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms Do not post sensitive personal identifying information about yourself or others in the community section.
The AI assistant Claudia is powered by Anthropic's Claude and is provided for general informational and organizational support. Important limitations: • Claudia's responses are not legal, medical, or professional advice • Do not rely solely on Claudia for IEP decisions — always consult qualified professionals • We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated responses • Conversation history is not permanently stored
IEP Compass offers both free and premium tiers: • Free tier: includes core features with limited file attachments and AI messages per day • Premium tier: unlocks unlimited attachments, additional AI messages, and other premium features Subscription fees are billed through the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). All purchases are subject to the app store's refund policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
All content, design, and technology within IEP Compass — including but not limited to the app interface, branding, and proprietary features — is owned by IEP Compass and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.
IEP Compass is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that: • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free • The information provided is complete, accurate, or current • The App will meet your specific requirements IEP-related information provided in the App is for organizational and general educational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IEP Compass and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of IEP-related opportunities, or decisions made based on information from the App.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

El asistente de IA Claudia se proporciona para apoyo informativo general. Limitaciones importantes: • Las respuestas de Claudia no constituyen asesoramiento legal, médico o profesional • No dependa únicamente de Claudia para decisiones sobre el IEP • No garantizamos la exactitud de las respuestas generadas por IA
IEP Compass ofrece niveles gratuitos y premium: • Nivel gratuito: incluye funciones principales con adjuntos y mensajes de IA limitados • Nivel premium: desbloquea adjuntos ilimitados y funciones adicionales Las tarifas de suscripción se cobran a través de la tienda de aplicaciones correspondiente.
Todo el contenido, diseño y tecnologÃa dentro de IEP Compass es propiedad de IEP Compass y está protegido por las leyes de propiedad intelectual. No puede copiar ni distribuir ninguna parte de la Aplicación sin nuestro permiso escrito.
IEP Compass se proporciona "tal cual" sin garantÃas de ningún tipo. No garantizamos que la Aplicación sea ininterrumpida o libre de errores.
En la máxima medida permitida por la ley, IEP Compass y sus creadores no serán responsables de ningún daño indirecto, incidental o consecuente que surja del uso de la Aplicación.
Nos reservamos el derecho de suspender o cancelar su cuenta si viola estos Términos. Puede eliminar su cuenta en cualquier momento contactándonos.
